Chris
spent the first 13 years of his career getting trained on what it takes to delight clients: working on the client side, at Chase. Chris was one of Chinnici Direct’s (Michael’s former agency) favorite clients—at least that’s what we tell him.

Chris started his Chase career in operations. After realizing Chris was the only operations employee who got excited when Chase raised late fees, Marketing recruited him to manage the Secured Card product, giving him full P & L accountability. Chris went on to Agency Management, where he analyzed all agencies on behalf of Chase, negotiated favorable agency contracts, and streamlined the ad agency selection process. Chris spent his final years at Chase as a Vice President in Brand and Relationship Management, working in all aspects of the credit card business to enhance the Chase brand.

Seeing the benefit of having a former client on his staff, Michael recruited Chris in 2004 to manage accounts for Chinnici Direct. At CD, Chris managed Educational Testing Services, generating high-quality leads in a B2B education environment; Suncom, devising CRM strategies for a wireless communications company; Parallel, driving a brand exploratory for a high-end destination club; Virgin Atlantic Airways, producing revenue-generating programs for one of the world’s sexiest brands; and had a brief stint managing the Capital One business before Michael recruited him to join Scuderia O2.

When Chris isn’t obsessing over his clients’ businesses, he goes back-country skiing, hiking, roller blading, and anything else that can handle his energy. He relaxes by playing guitar, one of which he keeps at SO2’s Base Camp, so when you come to visit ask him to play you a tune.
